Welcome to Zeta Omega Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.’s website.
Our chapter is comprised of over 25 outstanding zealous ladies who are dedicated to providing community service and committed to ensuring that we leave a lasting footprint while improving the lives of people in Saginaw and the surrounding communities.
Under the leadership of our current International President & CEO, Dr. Stacie NC Grant, we have focused our efforts on issues that impact the areas of Social Justice, Health Justice, and Economic Justice which is in line with the vision of our founders since 1920.
Together our members strive to ensure our principles of “Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood & Finer Womanhood” are exhibited in everything we do. Our community service is exemplary, and the impact is “Extraordinary”.
Our chapter is very proud of the impact we have had in Saginaw since our inception in 1967. We coordinate community service efforts with our student members at Saginaw Valley State University, & our adult and youth auxiliary groups which include the Amicae, Archonettes, Amicettes, and Pearlettes. We also work closely with the members of our Saginaw brother fraternity-Zeta Gamma Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Nationally we collaborate with organizations such as the March of Dimes, St. Jude Hospital, NAACP, & The American Cancer Society to name a few.
Locally we offer programs to help other people excel while meeting the basic needs of the community. Other efforts focus on improving students’ lives through annual scholarship offerings. Our local collaborations include but are not limited to working with churches, pharmacies, schools, shelters, & food pantries.
I invite you to look at what we have done, & please consider supporting our community service efforts, as well as our social and charitable endeavors throughout the year so we can continue to make a difference in the lives of people in Saginaw and the Great Lakes Bay Region.
